Sorin Group Canada, Inc., Mitroflow Division developed and manufactures the Mitroflow pericardial aortic heart valve. This unique heart valve is made from biological material derived from bovine tissue and normally requires no ongoing anticoagulant therapy, making it preferable for many patients. Mitroflow provides quality-of-life solutions based on patient's needs. Our products and services meet our customers needs and our high quality standards ensure consistency in design and function. Starting with simple materials we create a superb product by adding the unique knowledge and skills of our designers and assemblers. We have an ISO 9001 certified quality system, and our heart valve has European CE mark approval.
